Home-based exercise training is available for participants who cannot attend the Logan class sessions or are unable to travel to the SIUC-CRL.
Home-based participants are assigned a staff member who monitors their progress via phone or email for free after the initial physical assessment (performance of functional tasks).
A number of home-based participants come in for face-to-face “refresher” exercise sessions every 3-5 weeks and complete the remainder of their sessions on their own at home or at a fitness center located conveniently to them.
If the travel distance is too great, there is no initial assessment and the exercise program is written based on medical and fitness history, plus personal goals.
